Working nearly with the Chair of the remedial Support Panel, the Team Leader, remedial Casework Support Team will be concentrated on furnishing strong leadership and mentoring to amulti-disciplinary platoon who strive to deliver stylish practices in remedial casework support for children and youthful people who engage in dangerous behaviours, as well as their families and communities, including applicable support for First Nations and culturally and linguistically different people. The Team Leader will also manage a case cargo of children and youthful people. The behaviours that are presently bringing these children and youthful people into contact with the justice system indicate complex, unmet requirements. These requirements may arise from trauma, internal health issues, cognitive disabilities, precarious casing, social insulation, family dysfunction and problematic medicine or alcohol use. The recently established platoon will be responsible for assessment, support and case operation of children and youthful people who are engaged with the remedial Support Panel, amulti-disciplinary panel of experts that will grease support for children, youthful people and their families. Together, the casework platoon and the remedial Support Panel will work alongside children, youthful people and their families to develop and apply remedy plans aimed at addressing requirements and challenges which may divert a youthful person from the felonious justice system.
